Retesting is a crucial part of the pentesting process. It involves checking the resolution of findings identified by the pentesting team. After receiving the list of findings, customers work on resolving them.

However, this doesn’t mark the end of the process. The findings are then sent to the pentesters for retesting, ensuring the vulnerabilities are fixed.

Previously, this process was handled through email chains, making tracking retesting and the number of retests performed difficult. Additionally, the platform didn’t track reopened findings by the pentest teams.

In the new design, we have simplified the process. Customers can select the findings they want to retest, mark them as ‘Ready for Retest,’ and fill out relevant information to generate a retest request. All retesting activities are now tracked within the platform, providing a centralized way to monitor progress.

If the findings are not resolved, pentesters can reopen them, and customers are promptly notified. This improved system streamlines the retesting process and enhances transparency.

Watch the video below for a quick walkthrough of our all new, streamlined retest request process:

With our new platform design, retesting becomes more efficient and manageable.

Say goodbye to email chains and embrace a simpler, more effective approach to tracking and resolving findings.
